My name is Ivica Delic, co-founder and CEO of Freelancers Tools, the #1 hand-curated software portal for beginners and professionals with over 4,000 manually collected, high-quality applications. The portal is designed to help freelancers, startups and small/medium businesses find the right and affordable software for their digital business.
I was born in Croatia (EU) and live in the city of Split. I have a Master’s degree in Economics and have been working in the banking sector for 21 years, where I worked as a project manager for many IT projects and as a card centre manager for 14 years, managing more than 60 employees.
Since 1995. I started building websites and online businesses and have been working with WordPress since 2011. I have attended WP Meetups in my hometown and given talks on how to speed up WP sites. I have also been interviewed for WPfounders, WP Elevation, Smart Web Creators, and others.
I have also created very popular Facebook groups on various topics. Together with my co-admins and moderators, I am the administrator/moderator of a total of 25+ WordPress and other Facebook groups with nearly 300,000 members. Volunteering and supporting the WordPress community is one of my favourite things to do.
July 2019. I left my career as a manager in a bank to replace it with a career in digital marketing to further grow my WordPress skills and business, and to help the WordPress community. I started a consulting/tech company Studio Zona.
